ABSTRACT

The Governed Thermal-Electric Retention Unit is the fifth machine in the Isotope Decay Governance series developed by Advanced EM Systems LLC. Version 14 defines a scalable Sr-90/Y-90 governed thermal-electric architecture for terrestrial, lunar, cislunar, and deep-space applications. RPPU-0 supplies the sealed governed isotope and field-source component; the GTRU is the larger independent machine that integrates the thermal mass, routing, safemode, power-delivery, material-environment, and qualification architecture.

VERSION 14 ENGINEERING RECORD

Version 14 formalises the observable system response h(E_field, M_env), the whole-machine Metamaterial Environmental Stabilisation Package, and the Phase A measurement pathway. Field-on and field-off calorimetry, conversion telemetry, sensor data, controlled safemode thermal export, PCM retention, and defined external rejection conditions are treated as one governed engineering record.

AEMS MACHINE-CLASS DOCUMENT

IDG-5 retains the Griffiths Canon and Advanced EM Systems LLC document-control lineage. The physics shared with IDG-4 is the sealed Sr-90/Y-90 source chain, governance model, and decay-to-heat conversion. The GTRU adds thermal mass and routing, safemode delivery, DIGSP power-management modes, material-environment configuration, mass and power budgeting, and the qualification programme.
